I wanted to reuse my old ITX motherboard and ATX power supply to create a small NAS with all my old HDDs.
I only use it to power it up a few times per year to create a backup from my main server. Just to have some extra backup. It is not connected normally.
You have to remove the wooden dowels holding the middle section. With the clamps (left/right/top/bottom you create a “groove”. This way the whole assembly can be pushed in/out to work on easily.
Other extras are a 2,5inch OS SSD mount and some cable clamps for cable management.
For mounting the ITX Mainboard I used M3 threaded inserts in the mounting frame.
