Hello dear tinkerers,

So I was not willing to accept the solution for the cooling of the Raspi (originally it was an Raspi Zero 1 W style Banana pi BPI-M2 Zero ) and the SKR Pico. So I made my own. Most of the parts should be printable without or very few supports. I stack them on top of each other and design some shroud that are going around the case.

Why the normal Raspi and not stick with the Banana Pi BPI-M2 - good question. After everything was installed on the M2 it decided to fail on me on the 2 reboot and could not be booted anymore. I was anyways relatively finicky to work with - special Armbian version and only this works, some installation that did not work, WLAN setup that was a nightmare etc. Debugging was a nightmare and again it finally decided to just be a brick. The obvious could also be possible, that I just was not up to the task to setup up an M2 XD.

Cable management can be a bit tricky but it worked for me. If hatred rises suggest me some changes and I will try to implement them or make a new version.

BOM:

  • 2x M3 heatinsert for the Blower mount
  • 4x M3 x 35 mm (40 mm is max) to fix the Raspi and the SKR Pico together
  • 2x M3 x 4-10 mm to attach the mini air channel.

Crucial: The holes for mounting SKR_Mount._base_extented to the bottom frame are not yet correct

And I do not know how to handle if SKR_Mount._base_extented could be a Remix and all the others are not. ATM I have this part in this Model.

Voila - some good looking case that can provide cooling.
Have fun and a great DAY!!!
