New official screen from Raspberry Pi has a different mounting screws distance. Let's put it in the simple frame (-:
It keeps rpi exposed, so it is not a full case, rather a universal stand / protector for this thin screen.
The frame has a very slight “click-on”, so you don't need to screw it in, but why not - you can use screws that came with the screen to attach this frame to it, instead of hiding them in the drawer and forgetting where they are.
There are two leg models, you need two pieces of the flavour you like (portrait or landscape). Depending on the direction you put them you'll get 30 or 60 degree screen angle. The screws that come with the screen (M2.5x4) should be enough to mount legs and frame.
You can choose any of the four variants: both frame and legs, only frame, only legs, nothing. The last option is the fastest to print!
Keep in mind that option landscape + 30 degree has a bit limited clearance, as you can see on the photos mine setup is a bit to tall for it.
Printed with PETG, but PLA and other materials should also work. 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer, 15% infill.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
