Update Nov. 16, 2024: I added a version which can be backlit. The orange parts of the letters are only 0,2mm thick and there is a channel for the cables. Not sure if that will work. I ordered some LED-filaments for backlighting. 
* Corrected an issue where some white parts were the wrong height.

I added an image of the updated print (illuminated by a flashlight). I chose to print the orange and red parts with the same filament. Since the “red” parts are not illuminated they appear darker than the translucent parts, so the “shadow effect” remains. 
Btw. the orange filament is a translucent one by Filamentum (also sold by Prusa).
 

This is a sign derived from the Brawndo brand from the movie Idiocracy. 
There are two versions: 

1. single object/color which can be used with color changes by layer
2. multi part/color which is basically flat and achieves the letter's 3D-effect by using a different color (red) to stay closer to the original. The different parts are label with the letters w, o, r, g for the colors white, orange, red and green.

The sign is a bit different from what can be seen in the movie, missing the “flash” in the background and the slogan “The thirst mutilator”.

PS: I thought this would be fitting the result of the US-elections. :-P
