UPDATE 2022.12.19.: Check out Tessellation Cookie Cutters Vol. 2  :-)

Last Christmas I found an article about a Norwegian chemist and a passionate cook, Martin Lersch creating brilliant Escher-patterns and turning some of them into 3D printed cookie cutters.

I knew I needed this but according to the laws of nature I forgot about it by the very next day and only remembered it now. So after a couple hours of modeling and another couple hours swearing in the kitchen I can present you my first two tessellation cookie cutter. (Expect some more by next Christmas!)

They each print in about an hour, just enough time to prepare some dough. So if you fancy a second round of Christmas cookies grab these models and preheat your printer! ;-)

I'm sharing the STEP files as well, in case some of you would want to meddle with the design.
