Important! The multicolor version is not designed to be printed in separate pieces and later assembled. If you don't have access to a multi-material capable setup (MMU, AMS unit or similar), please avoid printing the multicolor version of the model.

In a response to the huge success and overwhelmingly positive feedback to one of my very first creations, the Articulated Whale shark, I decided to revisit the idea, and celebrate its recent Printables Awards nomination with a fresh and even cuter stylized version of the design. I would also like to say say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for my designs, I'm incredibly grateful for your support, and I hope I won't disappoint with my future models. It's been an awesome journey, and I definitely wouldn't be here without you. Thank you!
The shark is print-ready, It comes pre-oriented, and doesn't require any additional assembly. Just make sure your print surface is clean, free of any oils, dust or debris to prevent spaghetti disasters, and you're all set.
All the files have been thoroughly optimized, and the singlecolor stl takes up less space than an average-sized photo, all without compromising the final quality of the print. That means more space for loads of other awesome designs!
I've included 4 files, sorted into 2 folders:
This design is a part of the Articulated Models collection by me. You can check out other designs from this collection here.
The Articulated Models collection is a live project, and I'm continuously adding new designs anytime I get an interesting idea or suggestion. The designs are also updated, if any changes or tweaks have to be made. Feedback, suggestions and ideas are welcome!

None. The model doesn't require any support material.
Possible, but keep in mind the accuracy of your setup. If you go too far with your scaling experiments, you might run into issues such as fused segments, or fragile links. If you have a well calibrated setup, you should be able to print the model at up to 75% of the original size without any issues other than loss of definition.
Default, laid flat on the belly.
Not necessary, the contact area with the buildplate should provide a sufficient grip. However if your print surface suffers from poor adhesion, consider using an adhesive spray, or some other kind of adhesion booster. Using a brim is possible, but not recommended, as it would be too difficult, and inconvenient to remove afterwards.
