Recently I acquired this :
The optical center punch seems to be nice enough, but the “plastic storage case” (red case in the photos) is kind of clunky and oversized, and does not organize the accessories very well.
So I designed this more compact storage container, with individual pockets for all of the parts, and with the pockets labeled to quickly identify each component. In addition the cover for the holder also fits onto the bottom section of the holder, so that it takes up the same amount of bench space either open or closed.
The “label” that fits into the top cover is designed to be glued in from the inside. The top section simply fits onto the bottom holder section; as noted, when the top is removed it can be reversed and fitted onto the bottom section so that both pieces stay together when the holder is open (see cover photo).
Print in PLA using the 3mf or gcode files provided. Note that the “label” and bottom section of the holder are designed to print in two colors with filament switching.
