This saved meal after so many wasted hours trying to nail my z depth, without much success.... I think this should replace the standard first layer test an all Prusa printers. Thank you! (edited)

Have used this many many times now, perfect model for dialing in the Live-Z
Very handy. The angled sides match the fill pattern and allow for maximum simultaneous x and y movements, which helps manifest problems I see with wavy patterns that don't show up with travel mainly in a single direction.
Here are two of the three test strips I just did for my Neptune 4+. Both have wavy patterns, but the first is at -1.190 offset which is way too high (notice the separation of strands in the rest of the strip). The other is as it approaches -1.400 and is too low and you get the wavy patterns from that.
It let me dial things in right quick! (edited)
Thank you for this calibration test, worked great once i got everything dialed down.
This is the best calibration tool I’ve used for first layer. I will be using it for whenever I change nozzles or to a different print bed.
This is the best calibration tool I’ve used so far for my mini+. I love the tabs to indicate when to change my live z. I’ve used it 3 times in the last few days when I’ve switched build plates going between PETG and PLA.
Great print to fine tune your Z value. I have a feeling I'll be printing this more than once.
Well, you've got to start somewhere I suppose.
Very nice print for z-calibration, thanks!
Printed with 0.28mm first layer height, 50 mm/s first layer speed.
