This wrist rest is designed specifically for the Work Louder Nomad [E] keyboard, and as large as possible for a 256x256 mm print bed as one continuous piece. There are three channels running the width of the model, because one solid piece was not interesting enough.

  • 342.5mm wide, 8mm short of the full width of the Nomad [E] keyboard, but aligns with the keys on the far right and the display frame on the far left.
  • 70mm deep
  • 17.3mm tall

Bottom has 9 spots for non-slip adhesive feet, up to 18mm in diameter.

Print with supports.

Enclosed Bambu Lab printers must have the auxiliary and chamber fans turned off to prevent warping and bed separation in the back-left corner.

The 3MF file is set up with:

  • Supports for the three channels running widthwise through the model. You will need a long flathead screwdriver or similar to break these away.
  • Variable layer height
  • Diagonal standing orientation to maximize print bed volume

Printed with Prusament Galaxy Black PLA.

Comfort recommendation

I ran test prints in different orientations and sizes, and found that printing vertically with variable layer heights with Prusament created the best texture and weight under-hand.

Non-Nomad [E] owners

The notch on the top of this wrist rest aligns with a similar notch on the keyboard space bar, which is not centered. This wrist rest will work just fine for all mechanical keyboard users, but personally, that center-offset notch would drive me mad. I plan to make a separate model with a centered notch, because symmetry matters.
