I’m excited to share my latest project: a custom case for storing the original Prusa accelerometer, specifically designed for the MK4 and MK4S 3D printers.
The case is made up of two parts. The inner section is my own design, created to securely hold the accelerometer. It has enough room to store the accelerometer while it's still attached to its mounting accessory for the printer, and also provides space for both the connection cable and the serial number tag (so you don’t lose it!).
For the outer case (the black part), you can either use any parametric model available in the community models or design your own. Personally, I used the Latching Box, Parametric Print in Place model, by Windrose, and I adapted it to fit the dimensions of the inner section of my design. (Thank you so much!)
To make it easier for everyone, I’ve also created a remix of this box with the exact measurements for the accelerometer case.
You can find this remix HERE!
I've printed the holder in yellow PLA and the case in Black PETG. Both with a standard 0.2mm Layer height configuration.
I hope you find this project useful!
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
