Easily sort your small parts into your Gridfinity bins. With this model you can place the sorting tray directly on top of your Gridfinity bins in your drawer or wherever you have them. Or you can also have the tray as a freestanding unit with a baseplate grid and a bin under the tray and the container bins on the side.

I include a couple of variants of Gridfinity bins, some to be placed under the tray for support, which is shelled for minimal filament usage, and others that are more common as containers. You can choose between 3 different heights of the bins. They are available in 5-7 units (39-53 mm). The dimensions in the file names are width x depth x height. Width and depth units are 42mm grid slots and height units are 7mm.

Printing and print settings

In the model files, the parts are orientated in the direction best suited for printing. Use e.g. PLA for printing with a layer height of 0.2mm or less and a nozzle width of 0.4mm. A wall, bottom and top thickness of at least 3 lines and an infill of 20%. There is no need for a support structure.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I was inspired by the model from Retron Print. This is a variation of the sorting tray for use with the Gridfinity system.
