So...
At first I just wanted to make a simple monopoly with more street groups and started to think about the best way to do it.
I spent a long time thinking and planning etc. but then I had the idea of making the whole monopoly modular!
so I ordered 600 magnets and started designing.
After about 2 weeks, I came up with a clever system: I imprinted 4 magnets per road element in the body. This allows you to “click” the individual streets together, the whole thing has a very high-quality feeling as the streets are approx. 7 mm thick plus the houses etc.
I then found a monopoly online on Thiniverse that was printed with special buildings and made the whole thing more exciting and lively. That and also the PC game Monopoly Plus with the 3d view inspired me to make something like that, so I reworked my streets body...
Now I have a slot at the top for the color tile (the street color: red,green,yellow...) underneath I have a slot for a theme tile in which you can put buildings or something similar, then I designed a street on which the game pieces can drive along and at the bottom I put the building block with the street name and the price.
Since the textured printsheet of the mk3 creates an ingenious surface, I designed everything in such a way that 1. little waste is created by the color change and 2. all surfaces are printed with the top side down to create a cool finish.
I then did the same for the actionfields, i.e. taxes, event and community fields, also for the 3 factories in my case (waterworks, nuclear power plant and sewage treatment plant) and of course the trainstations. They are actually the same as the road components except that the colorstone is missing.
The corner squares (in my case 6 pieces because I made a hexagon, you can make as many or as few corners as you want! Updates are coming soon!) also with the road on it and 2 corners that you can decorate yourself or wait for my updates! my fields are: Go, prison, go to prison and new portal and auction house. here I also used the same technique with the magents.
what i am extremely proud of are the soft ones! you can use them in a few ways to get alternative routes, e.g. Beverly Hills with extremely high prices. I have designed the fields so that you go straight out with an even number of dice and go into the new section with an odd number.
I have separate buildings for each street group to make the game more lively and fun, the gas station and the vineyard were designed by myself and the other buildings I got from the already mentioned monopoly game on thingiverse, here is the link to the amazing design!

Thank you so much for allowing me to use and upload this, Moe!
i have separated his building pairs in the slicer and scaled them up to 139%, i will soon upload the models all scaled and ready to print but that will take some time.
i also designed my own houses that you can build, i glued a magent in each color stone so that the houses that have a rivet printed on them stick to it and are not knocked over by the cubes. i created houses from level 1 to 4 and a hotel
i printed out the street maps quite ingeniously with sheets for business cards!
I will create a whole pdf in the near future as a guide on how to print what and what belongs to which part and everything.
Until then, here is the short version:
The street components (corner, street and action street) I have taken the body and border in mmu mode in slicer and printed the body in white and the broder in black, I have set the print to pause to insert the magents, but be careful! pay attention to the alignment otherwise the streets repel each other instead of hanging together!
i printed the game roads with the top side down and also printed the road and the marker together in mmu mode with gray and white.
i also printed the theme stones with the top side on the print bed and filled the hole with support and broke it out at the end
i labeled the text fields in the slicer with name and price and printed them with the text facing down like everything else in mmu mode with white and black.
i did exactly the same with the trainstation logos and others, i uploaded them as mmu part, i will upload all the street names later, no worries!
at the end i glued everything together with glue and started playing!
it's sooooooooooooooooo much fun, you can click the monopoly together the way you want it, whether big for several players or very small for a quick round, you can design and print yourselfe even more fields to make the game endless, and that's my problem I CAN'T STOP! so be happy there will be many new updates coming!
so leave a follow to make sure you don't miss anything!
if you've read this far: congratulations!
