Ultraball with hinge (V1.5), functional button and insert for GBA, DS and 3DS cartridges

This hole project was made to challenge my ability whit SolidWorks

This is a remix and complete redesign of this model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1615753 to make the design of inserts easier to be adapted to different situations

In this case for cartridges from different consoles GBA, DS and 3DS also there is a slot for a SD card and the DS Lite GBA Slot cover does fit in the Pokeball

you may need a 4mm spring for the button (I use one form a pen)

Update 1.5:

Update 1.41:

• Added a simple low profile stand for the pokeballs (and photos for the stand)
• Also hyperlinks for all other pokeballs

Update 1.4:

• The button has been change to make it simpler to print with a chamfer to avoid elephant foot
• Now you can use a smaller spring for the button

Update 1.3:

• The hinge and tops have been redesigning to bee able to bee interchangeable
• In consequence the hinge is ever so silly smaller to bee able to interchange the tops, and the insert it had to bee made smaller
• The insert is now available as a step file 

Update 1.2:

• Separated objects for the hinge and the tops
• The gap between the tops when assemble was reduce from 9mm to 7mm
• The model for the Masterball was updated since I discover new ways to model it inside SolidWorks
• The insert was updated making it deeper to put 3 nuts as counterweight
• A Blank inset was added     

Update 1.1:

• The ring is a little higher.
• The ring space inside the hinge was also enlarged to accommodate the new size.
• The button was not changed but the space it covers is greater, going from 0.55 mm to 0.85 mm

the last photo is the dimension of the insert
