What a fantastic puzzle box! After printing it I noticed, just like some other folks in the comments, that the outer panels lack grip so it's a bit hard to slide them into position. So I created a remixed version with added grip to those outer panels. Also I added some optional decoration that can be added to the box, so it resembles a present. Thanks for sharing and providing the instruction videos! The remix can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/787834 (edited)

I printed the simplest version and will probably try one of the more complex ones later. A small amount of sanding was needed to make the pieces move smoothly. The tolerances are a bit too loose, so the sides rattle when you shake the box.

This puzzle was great fun to assemble, solve, and have the family try (& solve).

Next time I might try to add texture or some grip for the walls to make them easier to move around. With wax the walls slide smoothly in one motion, but more grip would make it easier still.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

I take joy in making presents extremely difficult to get into. I have printed one of each version and they will go to each family member. Each containing a key to a lock that goes to their present. Yes...I am that guy

(Polymaker PolyLite Dual Silk Beluga silver-blue PLA) I took my time with support removal and I'm glad I did. If I'd had some dri-lube I would have added that before I gave it as a gift, but the movement wasn't too bad. I gave it to my brother in the "fun" version, now I have to redo it in the other versions for him to solve. A little repetative, but not bad - a good print.

Fun print, will be a nice Christmas gift.

Good puzzle box that printed easily and functions smoothly. Not the most challenging puzzle but still a great addition to my collection. Thank you l!

Even the longest bridges could be printed without support. I used only a few custom supports for the corners when I printed walls vertically. Solving the puzzle and moving with its parts is super smooth. Superb!

Great model
Very little sanding was required to get it together.
Gave it with a little gift inside.
