This is a tool to assist in the migration of a Cisco or Meraki switch with a new Cisco or Meraki Switch. You would move the existing cables from the old switch to the tool allowing you to keep the cables in the same port locations. Then the switch can be removed and a new switch installed in it's place. Next the cables can be moved from the tool to the new switch. This is especially useful for replacing multiple switches in a stack. See the included photo for an example. I designed this originally as a single piece but it required a large 350x350 printer. I redesigned it as two pieces so it should fit most standard printers. The original single piece design is included if you have a 350x350 printer, it will need to me rotated 45 degrees to fit. It was designed to be printed in ABS or ASA so if you print in PLA or PETG you may need to scale the part up a few percent. The two piece design requires three M3x5x4 heat set inserts available from Amazon and three M3x10 (or 12) Socket Head Cap screws. In addition to the screws to combine the two pieces you may also want to use some super glue or epoxy for additional strength in the joint. Be sparing with any glue used as it could get into one of the RJ45 slots making it difficult to insert a cable.
