A simple thumbstick topper system to allow you to add different extensions to controllers. Each base has two halves, which slide on the thumbstick and are held together by the topper as it is screwed on top. Tested and designed for the following controllers:
For additional grip, the bases have a profile along the exterior. Small keys make sure the bases are lined up correctly. The thread on the bases is tapered slightly to make it easier to screw the toppers on.
To go with the bases, I created a number of different topper designs:
A blank cap is also included which can be used to base other toppers on.
Printing at a layer height of 0.15 mm gave me good results, and I only needed supports on some models (such as toppers I printed with the thread down).
The author remixed this model.
The basic clamping concept of the model formed the inspiration for my system. All files were scratch built, but made with the same thread to be compatible with any toppers for the xbox thumbstick extension system.
