What is Gridfinity?

Gridfinity is a standard developed by Zack Freedman to divide surfaces and drawers in grids of 42x42mm. On that standardized grid people should be able to mount bins and modules in which they can store their workshop tools. The community extended to create niche hobby modules or everyday organizing tools.
