3D Printing Basics Intro Course

Learn how to print with the two Prusa Minis that the Munich Maker Lab e.V. has available for use by members and non-members! This course does -not- require you to be a member, but you need to get a free ticket prior to arrival. 

Topics covered:

• Safety Information around 3D-printing
• Finding pre-made models on the Internet
• Slicing your model
• Transferring your sliced model (gcode) to the printer 
• Information around Filament (types, …)
• Loading filament
• First layer calibration
• Starting your first print
• Changing filament during print 
• Removing print from printbed
• Unloading filament

Everything is demonstrated using the two Prusa Minis the Munich Maker Lab e.V. owns. This course is primarily for people that want to print at the makerspace but could be useful if you want to get started with your own Prusa printer.
