This took a little experimentation (fluid dynamics and water tension… what a fun pair of things you are!) but now you can enjoy recycling your old bottled water containers into watering cans!
These are perfect for indoor plants and watering seedlings. They (almost all) come in three hole sizes, 1mm, 1.5mm and 2mm holes, and four different styles.
Super easy to print, ideal for friends, one is plain in case you fancy remixing how it looks it in some way.
I have also included the freaky alien hand version as it's original OBJ file exported from Adobe Medium where I sculpted it, for someone with an MMU who fancies different colours (just split into parts in PrusaSlicer).
Print all of these face down, with the holes on the build plate.
No supports required.
Default infill is fine.
You can use PLA, but if it is likely to sit in the sun or be outside, something like PETG or ABS would be best. All the photos apart from the mint blue are PETG.
Note: On a Prusa Mini I can print the 1mm holes just fine, but you might find the 1.5mm versions easier. If you are really struggling I've now included 2mm hole versions too. But struggling with 1.5mm is probably a sign you have your z-height too low or are over-extruding.
Screw on to a water bottle with a neck of 28mm in diameter.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
