Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

varies

Filament: X3D PLA white/dark colour

Notes:

Print one of each part except for the port (x2) and trap door (x3). All parts are correctly oriented.

Most parts can be printed with standard settings, except for:
  • Water tank - extra shell and solid layers to make it water tight
  • Base plate - Zero top/bottom solid layers and ~50% infill to create a breathable mesh
  • Ports - In a flexible filament such as TPU
  • Frame - You may need a raft to ensure the skinny sections don't peel up and distort
  • Trap doors - Print one to test the fit, and if necessary, scale the Z only to adjust the thickness.

Post-Printing

Assemble with M3 bolts.

Acrylic/glass should be cut to 84 x 84mm and be 3-4mm thick.

Designed to suit 20mm test tubes and 20mm tubing. I used tubing that was marked as 16mm but the external diameter was actually 20mm.
