Looks great!
Well designed boxes, they print well and look good.
Prints a bit slower maybe but it saves filament. I wish there was a parametric version of this box, but I have no idea if that'd even be possible with this honeycomb design. Thanks for the model! (edited)
@yamsooie Looks good!
Ya know, I've tried to make a successful parametric model and it just breaks, or winds up not looking good as the corners never wind up looking good. Every time I make a new box like this, I always have to fudge the numbers to get the corners looking right.
There are cosmetic issues on the letters (it seems like a lack of part cooling), but no issues with functionality.
Thanks
@smdollins Hope you don't mind me asking, but what is the print just to the left of your sharps container, the one holding the wooden box?
@smdollins rock and roll!
@smdollins I hear that! My boys are into miniature models and they always borrow mine. I know there's a trip to the ER in my future.
@Stellar8753_377791 love the orange knobs. looks so clean.
Nice model, but the holes for eyepieces are very thight.
Clarification: tolerances are too tight for high speed printing (edited)
This is the first time I am looking at your make on anything but my phone and it looks like your filament may have been a bit wet.
Maybe try drying it out, or use a different roll.
@smdollins Thanks alot for the files. Regarding the filament, I dried it beforehand. However, this is the first time I have used this Silver color from this manufacturer.
And even after this print, I still had some general problems with other prints that I didn't have with other colors (including gold or glossy colors) from this manufacturer. I will try printing again with a different color from a different manufacturer, I think the filament in this color is not the best.
Thanks again for all the messages, files and tips. Best regards

Very smart design. It doesn't take too much space in your works. I've adapted it to fit a CR2354 battery. Good job!
I found myself holding the covers the whole time I was out looking at the moon. Glad you though about a way to fix this.
Printed with extra perimeters instead of the default 4 recommended by the hadley manual - it's got quite the heft to it!
I had a nice sachtler tripod I use for photography & videography, these plate & adapter system works like a charm. It's also nice that it affords the use of all the nice accessories that @smdollins designed. Great system if you have a nice tripod.
