I need these! I will post a make soon. I have 3 tonne and 6 tonne jacks. I will make out of Polycarbonate.
Question! What is this hole in the front for? (edited)
@potatoworld_146548 Ahhhhh of course! TY
BTW let me know what you think of this design:

Didn't work for my sainsmart 3018 PROver (69mm gantry rod C:C). but the model is nicely designed and would have worked well otherwise. Thanks for your contribution.
EDIT: You did share the step files so I can make the revisions there, thank you! (edited)
@Rolandooo Thanks for the feedback, I've included the STEP files for download, if you're able to make the changes required to have it fit then it would be great to see as a remix! If I can help make any changes do let me know as well
the centerline of the holes on the bracket are not in line. and i noticed that after i had printed it. thanks for that.
How does the base/platform come off of the rest of the design? I am asking since you write that it is designed to be removable. Also, how does it attach to the main press design?
Also, what is the purpose of the sunk rectangular bit of the base?
I had actually been thinking of making a platform where a large part of the platform could be detached, maybe it would have little pegs. What do you think of this idea? Or I would do this: VLMP Heat Set Insert Press Mods by mjseabright | Download free STL model | Printables.com (edited)
@LukasExempla_1822374 The blue portion of the base comes off with 4 countersunk screws, the rectangular cutout was to specifically locate a part and align it with the soldering iron tip in a repeatable way.
You could definitely use pegs, or even magnets for your idea.
