Hey there, i'm really amazed by this nice project, and i would really like to build it. my question is in wich CAD application the heatbed is designed. because i need the dimensions , thickness, and the amount of layers of the heatbed inable to order it at PCBway. ps: i never orderd anything at PCBway, so i'm pretty new to this. already thanks!

@Robbertkerst_1313536 Hi, this is the info you need - 64x68.4mm 2 Layers,Thickness:1.6 mm, Finished copper:1,Surface finish:HASL with lead

Hi,
I'm planning to build this totally awesome project, but I have some questions:
How do you power this thing?
Is one USB-C PD board enough?
If yes, what size of USB-C power supply do I need?
How much wattage does the printer consume?
Is PLA Plus from Sunlu suitable for non-critical parts like the side covers?
Is there a way to mount a Bigtreetech SKR Pico board with a Raspberry Pi on the printer?
And how long do the 3mm Rods need to be?

I know that's a lot of questions, but I really want to build this thing! :) I've been hoarding these little stepper motors for years, and I find them really cool.
Thanks!

PS: Parts are allready ordered for this cool little printer:)
EDIT: I found out, that I only have 2 correct motors, the others are bigger 73 mm ones. Is there a way to still add them to this printer? (edited)

@MR_2052975 Hey,
- One USB C PD is enough, I use a 65w supply and it works fine. I believe when its printing it takes only around 35w
- PLA is fine for covers and stuff, anything a motor mounts to i used ABS or ASA
- Pico should fit but you would probably have to design a new mount for it.
- 3mm rods should be at least 80mm

Great project! What is the estimated cost for building this?

@Dani30 good question, it's hard to say because i made this from scrap / old / spare parts, but I think it could be done for under $100.
