Any chance to have a video of the full process ?
Difficult to understand exactly what to do just with your description.

@TheGadge this video is total BS, you cannot square the printer structure with tape, read my comment on it.

"Squaring the printer with some layers of tape, very funny 🤣"

Is there another reply that I missed?

Would that method at least work as a temporary fix, showing that a more perminant adjustment is required?

Thanks.

I'm still not sure how to use these, now that there's 2 models. Which one to print, which one to use, how to use them. This is all missing information.

1. When do you put them on ( after initial tensioning/before)
2. How do you put them on ( same as above )
3. How do you assemble them (you put the screw in before attaching them or after)

etc, etc.

This is this kind of documentation that you get and you're expected to know what the author meant.

@SebastianWiszowaty quoting this, a step by step guide on how to use would be really beneficial as i've never attempted this kind of calibration before. Also once we find the perfect tension for the belts for this machine we could all easily replicate the same calibration to mitigate all the possible issues caused by the belt tensioning system

Had to do quite a bit of modification to make it fit my Creality CR-10S, but I did get it to fit. Didn't see too much difference in print quality. Thanks for sharing.

Can this work with my aluminum profile 2020I used this Stepper Motor Base Mount ( Nema 23-Right Angle) (edited)

Is there a way to change this so that it will also work on a P1P? Every time I try to load it in it jumps to an X1 Carbon, and it won't let me send that to the printer.

I have put together a web site to try and record all the relevant details of each filament at https://3dfilamentprofiles.com/. I think I have captured pretty much everything, but if there are more fields anyone thinks I should add, please let me know. There is a link to a GitHub Issues list on the site for feedback.

Thanks. Worked really easily using my P1S conversion.

The profile has settings for abs, pla, petg and tpu. one has to remove the others and add the tpu to their profile and rename it. Testing now, will report back with results

Dear sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for taking the time to upload these settings (and keep it up-to-date).
I owned a CR10S PRO and, until now, could never print PETG successfully.

Much to my surprise, when I purchased a Bambu X1C (enclosed), the default settings weren't tuned properly, and I just don't have the time or patience to fine tune settings anymore.

I found your settings, downloaded them, applied to the Slicer and voila! I'm now printing PETG!

God bless you!

Thank you so much for this. Multiple profiles, many hours of troubleshooting later i finaly found THE profile that works. Left is the best i could get and right is your profile. Again, thank you very much for this
