Nice little print! I don't own any Citadel paints - thought I would try this for some other paints. I ended up using it as a D20 dice holder - looks great! (edited)

@Plissken45_2296148 thanks for the feed back. I love when someone uses you your idea for a different reason!
@Kelleher611 No problem! I might play around with downsize/upsize & see what else it can do!
Was worried about knocking over contrast paints and washes. This is an ideal solution.
@edcdadstuff thanks!
If you could add a swivel and lock action for the Y axis, this would be great!
@ItsMoxie thank you I will look at it.
@ItsMoxie I have made a newer version that uses hardware that could be tightened down to lock the action for the Y axis.
This is a really good design! Easy to print and very functional. There are just a couple of minor improvements I would suggest based on my experience.
First, I would skip the split peg and just use an M8x35mm hex bolt and nylock nut. There's a ton of force on that joint, and as you can see, the peg split along the layer lines almost immediately for me. Also, just the weight of my arm made the sponginess of the split pin allow a lot of give in the joint. A steel bolt solves both of those problems. No shame in that!
Second, I would suggest making the base plate a little longer and maybe wider to give a little bigger footprint. I expect my arm is maybe slightly heavier than average, and the base has a pretty small window of stability at its current size. I think a little wider stance would make a significant difference.
Overall: really cool, easy to print, and really helpful! Thanks for sharing! (edited)
@Kelleher611 Cool! I'll check those out!
Resized it and used it to test the MK4S printer when it runs out of filament (don't judge, beginner here :D)Kitty still likes it :)
@CristianBacu_2498631 my cats love them. Glad to hear someone else is giving them to their cats. Happy Printing
