I really liked this model and the idea of a Necron ambient desklight.
I scaled up the obelisk to around 220%, created a rock base and built in a 1W LED as well as a capacitive touch controlled LED dimmer.
The lamp is powered via a USB C inlet.
On the inside is 1 wall wall thick neon green PETG hull to disperse the light.
Printed with matte black PLA for the obelisk and grey PLA for the base.
Made a great gift for my brother.
@Lord_of_Shre_1903239 What a great gift! That's fantastic!
I was worried it wouldn't be able to support the weight of my GBA but has lasted over 24 hours even with an intec FM radio attached
@PatrickColon_1125737 nice! I printed mine in PLA and it's been hanging for months!
In printed in PETG.
It is a great and simple wall mount design. I recommend using brim, no supports. I didn't really use the hole as I am using double sided tape.
I pi-tea the fool! Nice model!
Pretty cool design and definitely humorous. Printed it out for my wife and she absolutely loves it.
does this need supports? so cute!
@dooby_843866 Nope no supports required!
Oh my gosh! This is one of the most clever designs I've seen...LOL! Brilliant!
