I got tired of waiting for a warranty replacement extruder housing for the Creality Ender 3 V3 KE after it melted after a big blob of death on my friend's printer. So I reproduced the design on my own (in SolidWorks). I changed a few things like using a separate part (shown below in green) for the part cooling 4010 Fan Vent outlets (you can't use the standard 110 deg vents that come with these kinds of fans since they are directed at the wrong angle relative to the nozzle on the KE). Note they are mirror images of each other, so make sure you orient them LEFT and RIGHT, when facing the printer, as shown in the part file name). It seems to be working well on my friend's KE. I printed it in PETG to ensure better heat resistance around the hot end. Maybe PLA could work as well, but I didn't test.
Any feedback is welcome... ENJOY!
