I wanted to remotely measure temperature and humidity inside Creality Space Pi dryer. Also the built-in humidity dryer is not behaving reliable, as it won't go below 15 % R.H. So I used spare SNZB-02 thermometer for this, because it (so far) seems to withstand the inside temperatures (some thermometers will not measure above 60 °C).

This model is making use of the case shape, acting as “drawer” on top which is the thermometer sensor securely attached. You can choose which railings inside the case you want to use, you can even place place it upside-down. The thermometer mount itself is 10° angled.

Printing tips

  • Print from heat-resistive filament. I used ASA with skirt draft shield. Maybe PETG will work, but I didn't try. But PLA will definitely not, it will melt.
  • I used 100 % infill, 0.20 mm layer.
  • Its designed to be printed without supports.

Other information

Use at your own risk! Placing the thermometer inside the dryer may damage it, because the internal temperatures could be above 70 °C.

I included empty universal “shelf” model, in case you want to remix it to attach some other sensor.

If you are Creality Space Pi user, you may also want to use Air Vent Gap Spacer to fix the major flaw of this dryer - otherwise it does not vent the humid air.
