Jeju Island is a beautiful destination for Korean and international travelers, known for its nature vistas of volcanoes, beaches, orange groves, forests, cliffs, and more! For almost two years, Jeju has been the home of MiniWorld3D founder Dany Sánchez, who made this model using terrain-to-STL tools + a vector outline of the island for coastline details.
Jeju is South Korea's largest island, with an area of 1,833.2 km2 (707.8 sq mi). It has an oval shape of 73 km (45 mi) east–west and 31 km (19 mi) north–south, with a gentle slope around volcano Mt. Halla in the center.
The island lies in the Korea Strait, located 82.8 km (51.4 mi) off the nearest point on the Korean peninsula. It is one of two special self-governing provinces in South Korea. Its people, language and religion are indigenous, the two latter being in danger of disappearing in modern times and new generations.
Some landmarks of Jeju island that you can see in this model are (clockwise) Jeju City, Gimnyeong Beach, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Udo island, Seogwipo city, Sanbangsan, Songaksan, Gosan, Hyeopjae Beach, and Mt. Halla.
The island was formed by the eruption of an underwater volcano approximately 2 million years ago. It contains natural World Heritage Site and Korea Historical Sites (from Wikipedia).
MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Jeju. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture!

Photos by Dany Sánchez, printed in SpiderMaker Universe Blue PLA for the sea, then pause-and-change to matte PLA coyote brown, on a Prusa MK4, 0.12 mm layers. Hand painted with acrylics. Note that the model in the photos differs slightly from the final, provided STLs, it was an earlier version with less detail that had to be added with paints after printing. The model provided is updated, better and fully detailed.
Real location photos by Dany Sánchez.

Print slow, such as 20mm/s outer perimeters.
Infill of at least 16% is recommended.
Two versions provided, with or without the North pointing arrow.
MMU or pause-and-change filament color recommended for a fully colorful model easily.
Start with blue for the sea, then it is possible to do many changes as elevation continues, or just one to simplify things, up to you.
For many colors, you can start with sand for the coastline, a light green for the flatlands, and then darker green for the slopes. Finally, a light brown for the top of Mt. Halla and even white for the very tips if you want to simulate snow.
