Like many others, I was frustrated by the Rivian key fob, which is supposed to be like a "carabiner", but comes undone too easily to be useful (dropping your key rings on the floor) and is way too big to comfortably fit into most pockets.
I didn't really need a carabiner so I designed a replacement frame that just packages the electronics and has a secure hole for key rings. It's also way smaller than the original (see reference photo).
The fob itself is easy to take apart, although you will need a micro sized torx driver for the 3 small screws (T5 size driver).
I printed with a metal filament, but this would work fine with any standard material. Extra points for printing it the same color as your Rivian!
