EN: The locking button on a few accessories of my (great) Dyson Vacuum cleaner had broken and could not buy it as a single spare part. I also lost my nozzle head for corners and tight spots….. I decided to design and make my own compatible spare parts!
FR : J’ai cassé plusieurs boutons de verrouillage de mes composants Dyson (qui j'adore) et cette pièce malheureusement n’est pas vendue comme rechange toute seule. De plus, j’ai perdu mon embout originale pour les endroits étroits. Bref… J’ai décidé de concevoir et réaliser mes composants de rechange compatibles!
ITA : Il pulsante di rilascio degli accessori del mio aspiratore (fantastico) Dyson si è rotto in più casi e non e reperibile come parte di ricambio singola. Ho purtroppo perfino perso la bocchetta da usare per gli angoli e le zone più strette…. Ho deciso di progettare e realizzare i miei componenti compatibili !
Description:
This vacuum nozzle head has been designed to be compatible with Dyson vacuum cleaner v7 thru v15 (see exceptions online) and/or other similar products. It is composed by the nozzle and the catcher button. Dimensions and tolerances are optimized for 3d Printing, adding or removing material where necessary. Main length about 176mm, all components are designed to fit the 180 x 180mm PRUSA Mini bed sheet. Dimensions optimized for 0.1mm layer thickness on my Prusa MINI+

If you are making the button only for replacement, use the existing coil spring of your accessory part. If button is too stiff cut out 1 or 2 coils of the spring. If you are making the vacuum head and the button or you don’t have a spring: procure a 8mm diameter / 5mm length spring .
