#0081 MK4 / XL Nextruder Extruder - with Socks Hard Case (4x)

After I published my hard case for the MK4 and XL that holds 4 extruder assemblies, I started getting requests for versions of different sizes and for extruders with socks.  

In particular, I want to acknowledge my collaboration with @kerry_363 for this version that holds 4 extruder assemblies with socks on. With the dimensions he gave me and the feedback and pictures he provided, I'm now able to share this model with you.  (I don't use the silicone socks so I couldn't test it myself).

[Update, Aug 16, 2023]: as requested, I've uploaded .stl files without the helper disks.

Features:

1. The lid has a solid-feeling snap together clasp.
2. Each extruder pocket has a clasp to securely retain the stem from accidentally falling out.
3. Printed text to indicate how to remove each assembly from the case that reads: “<< LIFT HERE”

Important: 

The lid is intended to snap securely into place.  To open for the first few times, just be a bit careful - but do not use a screw driver or any tools…it will damage the hard case.  After a few open/close cycles, the lid becomes easier to open.

Note: This has only been tested with the Original Prusa Silicone Socks.
 

Recommendations:

1. This is a great model for PLA. 
2. Print with 2 perimeters, 15% infill (I used triangular)
   Note: tested with 0.4mm nozzle.
3. A 3-4mm brim is recommended along with ~15mm adhesion helpers at the corners to prevent the corners from lifting up.  I also recommend a 4mm brim.  See the .3mf file attached.
4. Printed in Prusament Galaxy Blue PLA.

Changes to accommodate the heat block with a silicone sock.  Due to the added space that is needed.  The size of the hard case has also grown a bit.
