This is a stand I created for prototyping. I print everything flat and then weld it together using a 3d pen. Alternatively, you can use glue. You can also assemble the model in your slicer and print it as one piece.
I created a bezel for it which is optional. I didn't care for it myself and it's not used in the model in the photograph.
Special instructions for welding:
1. Position the face and the base together and use the support as a guide to get the correct angle. Do not weld the support piece yet. Tack weld the face and the base together in a few spots. Let the tack welds cool. After they cool, run a bead along the entire length.
2. The support piece is notched to account for this first weld. Ensure that the reinforcement height of that first weld does not exceed the height of the notch.
3. Place the support piece in position and weld along the top and bottom. The sides can also be welded but not required .
The user re-uploaded this model. The user is not the original author of the model.
