When I started my remote work job they sent me 3 monitors with no way to elevate them and I spent a whole year killing my neck and back with them being way too low. Every time I got the desire to remedy the situation I was dissuaded by being cheap and not wanting to spend $100+ on monitor stands. Instead I did the next rational thing, I built a big Voron and designed this, which almost uses a whole roll of filament. Worth it.

Print Settings

Material: Most things should work

Walls: 5+

Infill: 50

Orientation: On the back (refer to image)

I printed mine in both PETG and PLA and both are good enough. Definitely give it like 6 walls and a good amount of infill. To eliminate the need for supports I printed mine “on it's back”. As long as you have good layer adhesion it should work.

Materials

6x 10mm rubber feet (optional)

I designed in provisions for 6 10mm rubber feet to make sure they don't slide around, but with enough weight and desk pad mine have been sitting still.
