Hyte Y40 - Bottom LED brace

This is a bottom brace to hold an inward facing self adhesive LED strip. You see the stuff being lit up but not the LED for the most part. The total length of the face that the LED mounts to is 615mm/ 24.2".

I superglued the two halves together. Use a razor to pre cut your double sided tape for a clean install. I taped a hobby blade to a cover that was the right height to cut a strip that was around 6mm wide and made a few passes by rotating my spool of double sided tape.

After applying the tape and LEDs to your holder, you can pull away about 1" of the backing and fold it down on both strips. Then hold the assembly on your case in the final position and slowly pull the backing away while holding the trim in place. This ensures a clean and aligned install.
