I designed these switch covers to allow for visual confirmation that each rocker switch is in the correct position. For switches that should never be moved, the “Level 3” guard ensures that the switch is only accessible from the “incorrect” position. For switches that should generally not be moved (especially by guests stumbling for a light switch), the “Level 3.5” guard allows access from both sides for turning the switch in one direction (for example, to turn off an exterior light), but allows access from one side for turning the switch in both directions.
Both levels come in a left-handed and right-handed variant, depending on which side you want open and whether your correct position is on or off.
These covers should never be installed over a switch that should be toggled in an emergency.
