Sanwa JLF joystick restrictor collection

I needed a gate to replace the rotatable insert in the restrictor-plate of my (cloned) Sanwa JLF-type arcade joysticks.

This gate restricts the travel of the joystick to 4way and gives a more guided motion than the plate that comes with the joystick.

Printed in PLA with 100% infill for rigidity. Layer height 0.3mm. The horns need support.

To replace the stock plate, just push it upwards and rotate ca. 45° left until it comes out.

Mount the new plate by inserting it and rotate it the other way.

I was asked to add a plate that blocks the upwards movement of the joystick. I haven't tested it myself. Feel free to print and test it.

I added two additional plates that only allow horizontal or vertical movement.
