PICO Neo 3 Lens Adapter (43mm)

This adapter fits the  Pico Neo 3 Link VR headset.

I created this adapter to make use of the lenses I had for my oculus cv1 adapter. The lenses were bough with a frame for only $20 from zennioptical.com (Item SKU 550021) but you can procure them from anywhere else. The most important specs are that the lenses are circular and they have a diameter of 43mm.

The adapter grips the rubbery part around the device lenses gently enough to not damage it, but tightly enough for the adapters to not fall on your face when looking up.

I created this model hastily in an afternoon but I am very pleased with the result. With my face shape I can now use the pico without the glasses spacer and get closer to the screen which results in a slightly larger FOV.

I printed the adapter face down with zero cooling (had a printer problem) and thus I needed to use supports (made sure the supports didn't interfere with the opening where the lenses slide in). You might be able to print it without support with proper cooling. A resolution of 0.2 was enough.
