Ever had a door that just won't stay closed because the latch doesn't engage the striker plate enough? Print this and fix the problem. This model is 4mm thick and can be adjusted easily in your slicer to fit your needs. The screw holes are big to allow for different striker plates to work with it.
I've now used this model on 3 doors in my old apartment where the wooden doors have slightly shrunk and they wouldn't stay latched without using a deadbolt or other mechanism.
Just print, unscrew your striker plate, put this between your striker plate and door jamb, then screw it back together.
*tweaking may be necessary for non-standard sized striker plates. Also, longer screws may be needed.
Printed on my MK3S.
Recommend 3 Perimeters and at least 40% infill for strength.
Model is 69.8mm x 28mm x 4mm or 2.75" x 1.1" x 0.16".
* Use at your own risk. This reduces the security of the door it's used on since it's plastic. I take no responsibility for your use of this.
