This is a PCI Rail attachment that I made for the FormD T1 v1.1 case, to be used with the RTX 4090 (and 4080) Founders Edition graphics cards only.
It uses the existing SSD mounting holes of the T1 v1.1 front panel and the PCI Rail mounting holes on the 40series Founders Edition cards from Nvidia.
This was done as part of an upcoming build video. Check out my YouTube channel if you found this interesting or helpful.
Note that your exact tolerances may differ from mine, so be extra careful if you decide to test this for yourself and double-check everything.
* Untested.
**This is the position I use and the one seen in my photos. The GPU riser is mounted in the highest position. This allows for a more vertically centered GPU position, with ample room for the 12VHPWR connection. Note that in this position, one of the riser mounting holes is shared with the motherboard standoff thread (coming in from the other side). You can use a female to female M3x6mm spacer on the motherboard side and a longer M3 bolt on the riser side.
Best to do all this with the PSU and motherboard removed. You should also remove the T1 spine to make your life easier and avoid collisions.
Can I use this on the T1 v2.0/v2.1?
Use my new bracket instead
What riser cable do you use?
I use the LINKUP PCIe 4.0 Reverse GPU Socket 23cm
