Handy fillet radius gauges. Remixed, as now in multiple sizes with sharper edges. Two different sizes currently available, these are: Metric 1-10mm & Metric 10-20mm. Don't worry, imperial versions are in the making!

Ergonomic & Quick reference

A high precision profile with 0.5mm measurement increments. Compact circular deign with good grab-a-bility thanks to a large central hole. The fixed disc arrangement allows for speedy use with reduced faff - when compared to other gauge designs that use multiple swivel out type ‘wafers’ for individual fillet sizes.

Raised Text & Rebate

Improved legibility and durability of the top digits. Through previous trial and error I have found that embossed rather than debossed makes for a clearer end result. Font selection is critical here as results can vary wildly! (You can choose to print the text layers in another colour or to simply ink over the top faces with a contrasting colour paint… or even just a sharpie!)

Durability of the top digits is further increased by recessing of the top face. This protects them from normal wear and tear as they do not rise above the extremities of the main body. So, feel free to fetch in/out of that man-drawer as often as needed!!

Fillet Type & Measurement Info

Printing

The part is 5mm thick total. You can print first 4mm at higher speed, and then it is highly recommended to reduce to a slower setting for the last 1mm, as this will make sure the digits get printed well. It you are able to print in dual colour or are happy to do a filament swap, then do so for these last layers for a great twin-tone look with digits that really pop! (see the Makes section for photos of some great colour combos) 

0.25mm layer height was used throughout, medium part cooling fan, zero raft, zero support, and recommend 2x perimeters, and 3x solid infill (top & bottom layers).
