The Super NT is great, but cartridges sit rather sloppily in the machine. Accidentally moving a cartridge while fiddling with some cables can crash your game, and you don't want that, now, do you!
I've made these inserts so that cartridges fit more snugly.
There's now a model for EUR/JPN and one for USA.
Blender and STL files are included.
Please do let me know if you have any problems!
Disclaimer although I've taken care to ensure that cartridges are not damaged, there is an inherent risk of scratching cartidges when using these inserts. If you find that the cartridges you own are too snug, you can file down or shrink the front extrusions, which have been put in place for exactly this reason. Another idea might be to use a more rubbery plastic, such as PETG or even a Flexifill. I have not noticed any scratches on any SNES, Super Famicom, US or GD/PowerPak cartridges, but mileage may vary depending on your printer and cartridge. At least one user of the v2 cartridge reported scratches, so please do take care and test your print thoroughly.
Notes:
make it a bit easier to print, as well as being a more rigid design.
such as the Bung Game Doctor adapter didn't fit at all. I hope I've made
a design that's in-between too hard and too loose. Your mileage may vary
actually sits 1mm higher than usual on the cartridge connector
