Designed to help me keep track of which tools I have in the machines at the Toolpath shop.
You can use just the tag if you like, or the tag with rubber bands. I made a TPU strap to be a little more coolant resistant.
I suggest printing in PETG. The flexure will feel a little nicer and be a little more resilient.
You don't need a multi-color printer to print the numbers. The step files are designed with multiple bodies in them, and the whole thing is designed so you can do first-layer color printing. So print the numbers as one job and the rest of the tag as a second (of course if you have some kind of multi-color printer then its fairly strait forward).
The included F3D file is set up so you can make other numbers. Our Brother Speedio stops at 21, so thats where I stopped. But you can edit the txt in the sketch and export whatever numbers you like.
The author remixed this model.
I added a flexure to make it more durable, included print-in-place numbering, and added a tab system to retain the tool boxes.
