In the building of my DIY NAS: 2017 Edition using the SilverStone DS380 case, I noticed that my hard disk drive temperatures were running a few degrees higher than I was comfortable with.

I wound up reading a FreeNAS forum post describing blocking an air gap at the bottom of the case's drive cage and asked myself "Why not design a duct that screws into the case's 120mm cooling fans?"

After a few minutes with my calipers, a few revisions later, and after stamping my face on the thing, I had a closed the majority of the SilverStone DS380's air gap with the duct.

No 3D Printer? No problem! I am selling the Cooling Duct for SilverStone DS380 on Tindie for quite a bit cheaper than the few 3D printing services I compared it to.
