@FLYNINDUSTRIES Thanks for the response! I printed the way it was shown, I think it's more the cooling that's an issue for me on those. Been dialing the cooling in since printing this though and have my best prints so far coming out.
@Paerrin_515054 hi! Thanks for posting your make & the feedback. Yes the mount is a fairly complex shape & print but the last two main images show the best orientation to print the parts.
I find it’s best to print with the base flat on the bed & add supports under the mounting arms. I actually just printed one just like that. Be sure to add supports inside the mounting ring (square), not shown in the picture here.
I might look at an updated design soon. I’ve got some other stuff to do at the moment though.
Printed with Overture Digital Blue PETG. Had to print with supports and had to dig some out. This fan mount is so hard to print. I haven't found a 'good' face to print it on yet but this one works after some work with an Exacto knife. Overall I think it looks great!
