This bracket mounts the SV06 Plus filament runout sensor directly above the hotend, allowing it to detect runouts much closer to the extruder. The mounting hole on this bracket has been molded perfectly to accommodate the runout sensor, which fits in snugly. For even more security, a support bracket has been added that uses the stock sensor mounting screw. Mount clears printer frame and does not interfere with the auto Z align function. Prints without supports.

To install, remove the two short M3 screws at the front top of the hotend. Install the mount with 2x M3x8mm countersunk screws. Insert the filament runout sensor into the mount and secure it with the stock mounting screw. Re-route the runout sensor wire from the left side of the printer frame to the back of the extruder.

Optional advanced install: Unplug the runout sensor from the motherboard and plug the unused 3-pin plug in the motherboard box (labeled DET) in its place. This plug leads to the unused 3-pin plug on the right side of the extruder assembly. Then run a short, custom jumper wire with a 3-pin male micro JST 1.25 plug on the extruder side and a 3-pin male JST-XH 2.54mm plug on the sensor side. Please note: the small coupling wire in the motherboard box used in the stock configuration actually reverses the polarity of the two outside wires of the cable. For your custom jumper wire, you'll have to reverse those outside wires as well.

Molded the mount snugly to the runout sensor, aligned the hole directly over the extruder, and added a support bracket.
