The Fully Parametric Keyboard Wrist Rest is crafted to accommodate keyboards of varying sizes, offering a customizable solution for ergonomic comfort. The story of this model arose from the desire for a wrist rest without the hefty price tag associated with custom resin-made alternatives. While there are alternatives in the Indonesian marketplace, they might not be suitable for specific keyboard needs, potentially disrupting aesthetic preferences. By creating this model, my hope is to assist individuals facing similar challenges, especially with the widespread use of 3D printing technology.
Part/Tools Needed:
Instructions:
Pre-exported files are available for a standard 325 mm length keyboard. However, I encourage using the Fusion 360 files to tailor the design to your specific needs. You can adjust parameters in Fusion 360 by navigating to Modify > Change Parameters. Some crucial parameters include "Length," "Width," "Keyboard Height," and "Front Height." Beyond these, there are additional parameters you can modify.
For most printers, printing the entire wrist rest may be too large. In the prototype, I cut the model evenly into two parts. However, due to tolerance issues, I haven't uploaded this split model. You can divide the model using PrusaSlicer or Fusion 360.
Extra: You can suppress a feature to create your storage or leave it solid (refer to the images).

I appreciate it if you create a remix of this model. Please attribute back to this model if you remix it. Any suggestions are highly appreciated! Happy printing *click clack
