BMW Keychain - Black and White

Wanted a B&W Keychain that didn't use a lot of flushed filament and ended up designing this one. Turned out amazing.

Black and White BMW Keychain.

Print the bottom half layers in Black and then change the filament to white for the top half layers.

Suggested printing finer than 0.20mm. I made three different ones (0.20mm, 0.12mm and 0.08mm).

0.20mm turned out decent but didn't have a premium feel. Felt ridgy.

0.12mm is what I use for my spare key.

0.08 is excessively fine. No noticeable difference between the 0.12mm and 0.08

Used Hilbert curves for the top surface and a textured PEI sheet to print so it left a very grainy bottom surface.

Bambu Lab users:

Use the method wherein you flush the filament into the model to reduce filament purge and waste.

Total filament for model:

0.08mm: 4.64g (1.13g White and 3.51g Black)

0.12mm: 4.67g (1.04g White and 3.62g Black)

0.20mm: 4.82g (0.97g White and 3.85g Black)

The total Flush for all extrusion sizes was 0.36g (0.35g White and 0.01g Black)

Also attached is the Solidworks file that I created. If you want to add your name or something else then it'll be easy!!

Happy printing!!
