This model uses the slicer hexagon infill to create an intake screen for an AC Infinity S6 Cloudline fan. It works with both a .4mm and .6mm nozzle. The stl is pretty simple, it's the slicer settings that make this work. For reference, I'm using PrusaSlicer.
For slicer settings, ensure the number of perimeters is 2 (default), then set the top/bottom solid layers both to zero. Set the infill pattern to honeycomb and percent to 15%. This will result in hexagons with a corner diameter of just under 10mm. Set the layer height to the biggest your nozzle will handle.
For a .6mm nozzle at .4mm layer height on a MKS3+, this takes 50g of filament and about 1h11m to print.
One of the great things about this model, and why I used https://www.printables.com/model/212002-ac-infinity-cloudline-s6-to-4-dryer-hose-adapter as a starting point, is that the sides are all perimeters so the only infill is at the intake.
