Full credit: this remix is based on a Brigham Young University Compliant Mechanisms Research (BYU_CMR) Group design posted on Thingiverse.  Check out their user page on Thingiverse for other great compliant mechanisms.

I remixed the design to simplify the unnecessary structure and reduce the print materials needed.  This design has less interference in the hinging action.  It prints great in PLA on a well-calibrated printer.  The two pieces are identical and snap together.

Print instructions

Download.  Slice.  Print the model twice.  Assemble.  Fidget.

Modified from original .STL file imported into OpenSCAD and modified until my heart was content.
